## Intro

Being an expert in the UX design industry is a long-term goal, requiring hundreds of hours. You should be well-oriented in the whole design process, know overall UX and UI design principles, be a master in a prototyping tool like Figma, and many more. On the other hand, learning from quick tips represents a helpful approach to getting inspired and led by industry standards. Let's start with seven quick tips! 

  

## #1 White Space

Not only inside the cards, you should set proper paddings from to border to provide white space for better orientation and a clean design look. The most common spacing approach is an 8-point grid system, defining that all spacings should in multiples of 8. Ensure that you follow this principle and not setting the spacing too small to avoid a cramped feeling from the interface.

## #2 Radio Buttons

In some cases, you can try to use other solutions for selection than just a simple radio button all the time. For example, make it more visually appealing with icons.

## #3 Line Length

This tip is really quick! For better readability, aim for having 70-80 characters in a single line of text.

## #4 Safe Areas

Ensure that you respect safe areas by official guidelines. For iOS products, you can find them within Human Interface Guidelines. Your design should not overlap those areas! Check the iOS - iPhone 11 Pro / X example in the following image.

## #5 Bottom Navigation Scrolling

  

The bottom navigation of a mobile app should have a maximum of 5 destinations. It also means that a user can’t scroll horizontally through the menu!

## #6 Primary Button

  

Always try to communicate the hierarchy of the buttons. Putting too many primary buttons without any differences will make the user's decision process much more complex and challenging.

## #7 Typefaces

  

For most of the interface, you should use fonts from the sans serif family. Also, keep the number of fonts within the interface low. I don't use more than two typefaces on one platform.
